Suspects linked to R15m precious stones theft to appear in court

The case of three suspects arrested by police watchdog IPID for the alleged unlawful raid at a property in Killarney, Johannesburg - where they seized precious stones worth nearly 15-million rand - are expected to apply for bail in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court.

They are former Ekurhuleni Metro Police officer Kersha-Leigh Stols, suspended EMPD officer Adrian MacKenzie, and businessman Etienne van der Walt.
