Day 2 | President Ramaphosa's bid to halt impeachment continues

The respondents in the urgent interdict filed by President Cyril Ramaphosa in the Western Cape High Court to halt the impeachment process against him have heavily criticised the heads of arguments brought by Ramaphosa's attorney, Advocate Wim Trengove.

Ramaphosa wants to halt the process of impeachment, pending the finalisation of his application to review Section 89 Independent Panel report that found that he has a prima facie case to answer regarding the burglary at his Phala Phala farm in 2020.
