*Senior investigator at the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption Colonel Brian Padayachee, is expected to continue his testimony at the Madlanga Commission in Pretoria this morning.
Padayachee is the lead investigator in the case involving Crime Intelligence head Dumisani Khumalo and six other officers.
*The case of three suspects arrested by police watchdog IPID for the alleged unlawful raid at a Johannesburg property where they seized precious stones worth nearly 15-million rand are due back in the Johannesburg Magistrates court.
They are expected to bring a formal bail application.
*It's day two of the hearing of an urgent application at Western Cape High Court brought by President Cyril Ramaphosa in a bid to halt Parliament's Section 89 impeachment proceedings.
The President wants the process suspended pending the review of the Section 89 Independent Panel report, that found that he has a prima facie case to answer over the Phala Phala matter.
*South Africa and Russia are moving to strengthen parliamentary ties, with a high-level parliamentary delegation in Moscow holding talks aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries.
The visit also saw delegates lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, honouring those who died defending Russia during World War II.
