Inaugural Nelson Mandela Global Leadership Forum kicks off in New York

The inaugural Nelson Mandela Global Leadership Forum kicks off in New York tonight with distinguished speaker, Mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani.

According to the Nelson Mandela Foundation, for more than two decades, they've brought together leaders, thinkers and communities to confront difficult questions, and imagine better futures for people and planet.

The Forum is now billed as a continuation of that tradition in creating a new global platform for courageous conversations inspired by Madiba's enduring legacy.

Here is a taste of what audience members might expect tonight, a snippet from Mamdani's victory speech on leadership, when he trumped in the New York Mayoral race in November.
