EU Commissioner for Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib tells #EuropeToday that the bloc has already allocated €52 million in humanitarian aid this year, but says the devastating twin earthquakes mean the EU will "step up" its support.

Seven European countries have already announced search and rescue teams as thousands of people in Venezuela remain missing.
