Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, @GJEPCIndia, highlighted the potential to increase India’s gem and jewellery exports to the UK from around $754 million to $3 billion over the next three years.

He identified strong opportunities for Indian handmade jewellery among the UK’s large South Asian community, as well as for diamond- and coloured gemstone-studded jewellery in the wider market.
