Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala, co-accused due back in court

The case of alleged underworld kingpin Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala and four co-accused is expected to resume in the High Court in Johannesburg this morning. Matlala is accused of orchestrating the failed attempt to kill of his former girlfriend, TebogoThobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni, and music producer Seunkie Mokubung, popularly known as DJ Vettys. The defence teams are expected to make a formal application to compel the state to hand over outstanding evidence.
