G7 Leaders will tackle next steps on Iran after Washington and Tehran announced a preliminary deal to end their war, as they meet in Evian-les-Bains, on the shores of Lake Geneva in France. The summit brings together the Group of Seven at a French lakeside resort, amid unease among allies over President Donald Trump's tariff threats and questions about US commitment to the global order. The leaders will also seek common ground on the war in Ukraine, as well as discuss global economic imbalances, and sourcing critical minerals outside of China. Bonolo Maribe compiled this report.
