15 killed in “cynical” Russian missile attack on Kyiv | Ukraine Brief

At least 15 people were killed and dozens wounded in a Russian missile barrage that struck Kyiv in the early morning hours on Thursday. President Zelenskyy has decried the attack as “cynical, calculated, and large-scale.”

Kyiv has confirmed its latest wave of retaliatory strikes, with an oil refinery in Russia’s Tatarstan region reportedly coming under fire on Thursday.

Ukraine’s anti-corruption authorities have released new recordings implicating senior officials in an alleged scheme to illegally seize companies and valuable real estate. The network is said to have used forged documents and hackers to take control of businesses, including assets worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias.
