Madlanga Commission | Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala set to testify - Roland Henwood & Dr Mxolisi Mathebula

Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala is scheduled to appear before the Madlanga Commission today. Although there have been reports that his lawyers would seek a postponement, the probe's spokesman, Jeremy Michaels would not comment.

Senior Investigator at the Investigative Directorate Against Corruption, a unit of the National Prosecuting Authority, Brian Padayachee is expected to continue with his testimony this morning at the Madlanga Commission.

Testifying before the Commission yesterday, senior Investigator at the Investigative Directorate Against Corruption Brian Padayachee was questioned on IDAC's processes after it received complaints made by the Member of Parliament, Fadiel Adam, against Crime Intelligence head Lieutenant General Dumisani Khumalo and six other senior police officials. He also denied allegations that corruption and political interference have compromised operations within Crime Intelligence and the South African Police Service.
