Renewed US naval blockade aims to push Iran back to negotiating table: Analyst

US carried out strikes against Iran for a fourth day in a row on Tuesday (Jul 14) and reimposed a naval blockade to prevent ships from sailing to or from the country's ports. While US President Donald Trump backtracked on his threat to impose a 20 per cent toll on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, he warned that the US would step up military action against Iran next week unless a deal is reached.
