Calls mount for probe into Mkhuhlu police station

The residents of Calcutta in Mkhuhlu, Mpumalanga have called for the investigation of the local police station management.

This, after four people were shot and killed in the area over the weekend.

The latest killing brings to thirty-seven the people brutally murdered in Calcutta since January 2026.

Xolani Mona, Midwell Maluka, Alice Mahlangu and Zuzumuzi Sedibe, were killed in a hail of bullets outside Mona's home on Sunday night.
