#WATCH | India’s exports are expected to rise significantly as 99% of Indian exports gain duty-free access. Labour-intensive sectors such as leather, garments, textiles, footwear and auto components will benefit, creating more jobs, boosting manufacturing, strengthening GDP growth and increasing tax revenues. This will support PM Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a global manufacturing powerhouse. Unlike major economies that rely on pressure and conflict, India is expanding trade and economic opportunities through friendship, cooperation and mutually beneficial partnerships: Aakash Jindal on the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
