The United States launched a new salvo of strikes against Iran on Tuesday (Jul 14), marking a new escalation in the resumption of hostilities, even as the US President Donald Trump said a deal with Tehran was still possible. Trump also proposed a 20 per cent toll fee on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz to reimburse the US for being the “guardian” of the strait.
