Vocal Africa accuse Wetangula of continuing to campaign despite a court order

The High Court has certified as urgent a contempt of court application filed by human rights organisation Vocal Africa against National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula over his alleged continued involvement in active politics. Justice David Mburu had last week barred the Senate and National Assembly speakers from using their positions and influence to engage in political campaigns due to the neutrality of their constitutional offices.
