37 killed in Calcutta, Mpumalanga since January 2026

Fear continues to grip the area of Calcutta in Mpumalanga. 37 people have been killed in violent incidents since January.

Last night, four more people were gunned down in a suspected drive-by shooting.

Authorities say they have identified a person of interest and investigations are continuing.

Police say the attack appears to have been a targeted ambush.
