Anele Tembe inquest set for September 2026

The anticipated inquest into the death of 22-year-old Anele Tembe in April 2021, will finally get under way in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court in September 2026.

The inquiry was due to begin today, but the magistrate presiding over the matter was unavailable due to a medical emergency.

Tembe, was who engaged to rapper, Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes, fell to her death from the 10th floor of a Cape Town hotel.
