Russia boosts security, economic ties in Africa

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has been on a tour of Africa, aimed at strengthening Moscow's political, economic and security ties across the continent.

During stops in Ethiopia, Niger and Mozambique, Lavrov promoted closer cooperation on everything from counterterrorism to trade and education.
