Claim Bellarmine Mugabe has returned to SA rejected

Lawyers representing Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe have described as false and misleading a social media post suggesting that he was recently spotted shopping in Midrand, South Africa.

Bellarmine is the youngest son of former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.

Earlier this year (2026), he was deported from South Africa after he pleaded guilty to charges including pointing a toy gun and contravening immigration laws.

His cousin is currently serving jail time for the shooting of gardener at a Joburg property.
