US and Iran exchange strikes after assault on container ship | DW News

The US says it has launched a new wave of strikes against Iran after Tehran struck a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, setting it ablaze and forcing its crew to abandon it. Iran has responded by declaring the Strait of Hormuz closed until further notice, and with attacks targeting US facilities in the Gulf.
