UIDAI continues to strengthen India's digital identity ecosystem with new citizen-centric initiatives and enhanced digital services. With over 1.446 billion Aadhaar generated, 1.624 billion Aadhaar updates, 177.59 billion authentication transactions and 24.58 billion eKYC transactions, the authority has introduced a new Aadhaar App, free email updates, expanded Aadhaar Seva Kendras, mandatory biometric updates for children, and enhanced security measures to deliver secure, seamless and privacy-focused digital identity services.
