Umngeni Municipality | Chris Pappas seeks 2nd term in office

Incumbent Umngeni Local Municipality mayor Chris Pappas will seek a second term in office after being unveiled as the DA's mayoral candidate for the municipality in Howick.

Pappas says he expects to do better in the 2026 November polls compared to 2021 when his party won the election in the municipality by a narrow 42 votes - to lead it's first municipality in KwaZulu-Natal.
