Family in Kakamega seeks KSh5.5M for urgent bone marrow transplant

A family in Amalemba on the outskirts of Kakamega town is appealing to well-wishers to help them raise 5.5 million shillings for a life-saving bone marrow transplant for their eight-year-old child, who is battling leukaemia. Shayne Rosatte Angote has been fighting the disease since 2023, a battle that has forced her to defer joining Grade Three this year due to frequent hospital admissions and intensive treatment.
