Luqobo Makwedini's passing leaves family distraught

The family of former SA under 18 rugby player, Luqobo Makwedini has confirmed his passing.

The 20-year-old died in a hospital in France where he was playing for a local team, AS Béziers Hérault.

According to his family, his passing was a result of heatstroke. Family spokesperson, Mphumzi Zuzile says they are engaging with the French team for the repatriation process.
