Stakeholders in science education are calling for increased investment in physics learning, citing inadequate resources as a key obstacle to the teaching and learning of the subject in learning institutions. Increased investment, they argue, will help demystify the perceived complexity surrounding physics, inspiring more learners to pursue the subject and careers in science, technology and innovation. The appeal was made during the closing of the Biennial African School of Fundamental Physics and Applications, Kenya chapter, at the Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa
