Young SA spellers head to inaugural Spelling Bee World Cup

A team of competitive spellers are set to represent South Africa at the inaugural Spelling Bee world cup, which will be held in Shanghai, China, from July 14 to July 19.

Young orthographers from over 20 nations will be contesting for their share of various educational support funds.

Two competitors representing South Africa, Mbulelo Tom and Ashton Singh, along with Director of Reading at the Department of Basic Education, Nompumelelo Mohohlwane, join us for more.
