No end in sight to NSFAS problems: Deputy Minister of Higher Education Yusuf Cassim weighs in

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) remains in the news.
This time around, Yusuf Cassim, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, formally handed over written student complaints and enquiries to the management of the University of South Africa (Unisa).

These issues included delays in NSFAS Personal Care Allowance payments and the scaling back of data allowances, which are critical for distance-learning students.
