Madlanga Commission | Alleged NPA interference in Khan complaint

The Madlanga Commission has heard that Advocate Andrea Johnson, then a Senior NPA Public Prosecutor, gave Major-General Feroz Khan a criminal complaint laid against him, right before Khan had to give a warning statement.

This alleged improper conduct by Johnson, would form part of a protected disclosure made by Witness O, being investigated by two Hawks officers, which would then be given to Johnson, allegedly by former NDPP Advocate, Shamila Batohi.

This raises allegations of interference and defeating the ends of justice against the pair.
