Family of run-over Free State University student seek justice after his death

The Free State South African Police Service (SAPS) has launched an investigation into the tragic death of a University of the Free State (UFS) student, Kgotso Khaeane who was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident.

Amid growing social media speculation linking former Mangaung municipal official, Advocate Tankiso Mea to the incident, authorities have opened a case of culpable homicide.

The tragedy took place in the early hours of Sunday morning in Blomanda, Bloemfontein.
