While the City of Johannesburg continues to clamp down on by-law transgressions and illegal trading in the inner city, a growing partnership between government, businesses and community organisations is transforming the area into a cleaner, safer and more welcoming place.

The Johannesburg Inner City Partnership has brought together a range of organisations to focus on cleaning the city, creating jobs, improving public spaces and rebuilding communities through collaboration.
