President Cyril Ramaphosa is in France today for a three-day visit focused on education, diplomacy and strengthening bilateral ties.

He will hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and senior government officials.

Ramaphosa will co-chair UNESCO's High-Level Steering Committee on Quality Education, helping shape global education priorities for the 2026 to 2027 period.

The visit also includes meetings with French business leaders aimed at boosting trade and investment.

On Sunday, the President will attend the 110th commemoration of the Battle of Delville Wood in northern France, honouring South African soldiers who fought during the First World War.
