Spotlight on illegal firearms in South Africa: Dr Stanley Maphosa

The South African Police Service marked International Firearm Destruction Day by crushing
11 859 firearms and parts, with Gauteng accounting for nearly 4 000.

Meanwhile, Civil society group Gun Free SA said the government must find a way to put an end to the circulation of illegal firearms.
