#Fire destroys part of historic shoe #factory

A fire in the Czech city of Zlín has destroyed parts of a warehouse that was once part of the historic Baťa shoe factory

Around 300 firefighters were dispatched to battle the blaze, with the country’s highest emergency alert level being triggered by the fire.

Around 75,000 pairs of shoes, clothing items and accessories from Czech based brands were stored in the warehouse.
