War on Iran | Calls for urgent return to diplomacy

The United States and Iran have again traded military strikes in the last 24 hours, with fears growing of a renewed and prolonged escalation.

This has at times overshadowed the final funeral rites for assassinated Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

The late leader has been buried at the Shrine of Imam Reza in the northeastern city of Mashad, after a week of funeral events, including in Iraq.
