#Japan: Supporting #Ukraine against a common #enemy

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Japan has provided billions of dollars in financial, humanitarian and reconstruction assistance, welcomed Ukrainian refugees and increasingly looked to Ukraine’s experiences of war to provide lessons for its own security.

Now, as Japan relaxes restrictions on defense exports, Japanese companies are entering Ukraine’s rapidly developing defense sector, including through partnerships focused on drone technology.
