China repatriates 307 nationals from Myanmar scam hub

Over 300 Chinese nationals who were allegedly involved in scam hubs in Myanmar’s Karen State were repatriated back to China over three flights on Wednesday (Jul 8 ). The repatriation took place through Thailand’s Mae Sot district which borders Myanmar’s Myawaddy town — where the alleged criminal operations took place. Chinese officials were present to check the repatriates before they boarded a China Southern Airlines aircraft. #china #chinanews
