A regular taxi ride took a terrifying turn for a Singaporean mother and her six-year-old son on Monday (Jul 6), when the cab driver appeared to lose consciousness while driving on the East Coast Parkway (ECP). In a TikTok video, Ms Winnie Lee said she tried to slow down the vehicle by opening the door and pushed it against a road barrier. The taxi came to a gradual stop and Ms Lee and her 6-year-old son were helped out of the vehicle by another driver.

A 73-year-old man was taken unconscious to hospital and police investigations are ongoing.
