LPC approaches High Court to remove Mkhwebane as Advocate - Ignatius Briel weighs in

Impeached former Public Protector Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane is facing more legal woes.
The Legal Practice Council has approached the High Court in Johannesburg to have Mkhwebane struck from the roll of advocates.

The LPC argues that Mkhwebane is no longer a fit and proper person to practise, citing alleged unprofessional conduct.

The application is based on findings of misconduct, incompetence and dishonesty from her Section 194 impeachment.
