Meta to build $13-billion data centre in Alberta

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith was on hand Wednesday when it was announced Meta would build its first Canadian data centre in central Alberta’s Sturgeon County.

Meta says the one-gigawatt data centre represents a total investment of over $13 billion.
