Eliud Owalo to vie for presidency under People’s Prosperity Party

Former Cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo has unveiled his new political vehicle, People’s Prosperity Party, that he will use to seek the presidency in the 2027 elections. Owalo said, his party is opposed to the current tax policy, describing it as punitive. He also called on the government to respect the constitution and the rule of law.
