When roads disappear, drones fly in to help #coolchina

Days of torrential rain triggered severe flooding in Hengzhou, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, leaving villages and towns surrounded by floodwaters after a breach at the local reservoir dam. With roads cut off and ground rescue operations facing major obstacles, multiple types of drones were deployed to support emergency response from the air. Some were used to help transfer stranded people, while heavy-lift drones delivered drinking water and medical supplies. Equipped with searchlights and loudspeakers, the drones also helped rescuers locate and reassure residents trapped in flooded areas.
