“To reach defense spending amounting to 5% of GDP is not a very easy task,” said Latvia's President Edgars Rinkēvičs in an interview with TVP World, stressing that given what is happening in Ukraine, it's better to increase defense spending and military capabilities “if we want to avoid a large-scale war or hybrid war.”
