Russia-Africa Summit | Lavrov meets AU chair in Addis Ababa

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has held talks with African Union Commission Chair Mahmoud Ali Youssouf in Addis Ababa.

The meeting focused on security challenges across Africa, reforms to global governance, and preparations for the Russia–Africa Summit in Moscow later this year.

Lavrov also used the visit to underline Moscow's plans to expand its diplomatic presence across the continent.
