*North West businessman Brown Mogotsi is due back in the Johannesburg Magistrates court for arrangement of a trial date.
This after he was denied bail for the second time last week after the court found that he presented no few facts to be released on bail.

*Madlanga Commission chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga is expected to rule this morning on an application by Witness M to have their testimony heard in camera.
The witness has asked the Commission to close proceedings to the public, saying their evidence contains sensitive information.

*The trial-within-trial on the admissibility of a statement of a pig farmer accused of murder, Zacharia Olivier, will this morning continue in the High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Olivier will continue under cross-examination by the state prosecutor Advocate George Sekhukhune.
