‘I will always be proud:’ Family honours Montreal police officer killed in line of duty

Const. Mohamed Lamine Benredouane’s loved ones and thousands of police officers filled the Bell Centre to honour the fallen officer on Tuesday morning. The 34-year-old was shot and killed on June 22 in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood — the same community where he grew up and later chose to serve.
