Anger brewing over plans to sell Sebokeng Stadium

The community of Sebokeng in the Vaal is fuming following reports about plans by the Emfuleni Local Municipality to sell the historic Zone 11 stadium. The stadium is in a state of disrepair due to years of neglect and vandalism. This comes as many youngsters in the community decry the lack of sporting facilities in the area which leads to many engaging in criminal activities and abusing drugs.
