Construction mafia arrests reach 241 nationwide

At least 241 extortionists in the construction sector have been arrested, and 176 prosecuted for siphoning funds and intimidating construction companies managing public infrastructure projects.

Publiic Works and Infrastructure minister, Dean Macpherson reveled this at a media briefing in Parliament, about progress made in fighting costruction mafia since taking office two years ago.
