More than four years after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Kyiv is taking the war deeper into Russian territory. Ukrainian forces say they have struck oil tankers, military factories, and energy infrastructure hundreds of kilometers inside Russia.

ZELENSKYY AMONG PARTICIPANTS AT NATO SUMMIT
NATO leaders are meeting in the Turkish capital Ankara for their annual heads-of-state-and-government summit. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already addressed attendees and called for an anti-ballistic missile system in Europe.

DEFENSE INDUSTRY IN FOCUS AT ANKARA SUMMIT
Canada is ordering twelve submarines from the German naval company TKMS, the country’s prime minister announced. More defense deals can be expected in the coming two days, as an industry fair in Ankara kicks off with the NATO Summit as a backdrop. As a result, European defense stocks are surging, reversing a months-long slump.
