US crash out of World Cup despite Trump's involvement | DW News

US President Donald Trump controversially lobbied FIFA to reverse a ban on USA striker Folarin Balogun. Despite causing an uproar and Balogun playing in the game, it did little to help the US on the field. Belgium easily knocked them out of the World Cup, 4-1 in the round of 16.
