Ukraine has sent more than 400 drones toward the Moscow region. What message is Kyiv sending to the Kremlin? “The first message is: stop the war,” says Kira Rudik, Ukrainian MP and leader of the Voice party, in World Talks. According to her, the second message is directed at participants of the NATO summit in Ankara, particularly U.S. President Donald Trump.“Ukraine is showing that it can win this war,” Rudik argues.
In her view, the only way to end the war is to deprive Russia of the financial resources needed to sustain its military campaign, putting pressure on Russian elites surrounding Vladimir Putin. At the same time, she stresses that Ukraine urgently needs additional air defense systems and interceptor missiles to protect its cities from Russian attacks.
Join Sascha Fahrbach and his guest as they discuss Ukraine's military needs, the NATO summit in Ankara, and why supporting Ukraine should be seen as an investment in Europe's security.
